I'll start with the bad news first: the Packers haven't added multiple star edge rushers yet. I was told that they'd be doing that right after they brought back Davante Adams, and I'm getting impatient.
The good news, though, is that if there's one position where you can still find some value this late into free agency, it may be edge rusher. Are they going to be stars? No, probably not. (Unless they come and play in Jeff Hafley's system, then yes, absolutely.)
But is there someone out there who can maybe get eight or nine sacks in a one-year stint with the Packers? I'm going to say yes now because if you're not bullish about your team in March, what's even the point?

Bleacher Report seems to at least slightly agree with me – huge day for ya boy – because they found the perfect pass rushing solution for the Packers. And if it's not perfect, it's certainly a solution. And if it's not a solution, it's definitely an idea.
B/R thinks Jadeveon Clowney would be a good fit for the Packers in 2025
Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox believes the Packers should trade for veteran pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney.
"The Panthers are still in the early stages of a rebuild, and Clowney is set to be a free agent in 2026," writes Knox. "Carolina took calls for the 32-year-old ahead of the 2024 trade deadline, though it ultimately chose to keep him. The asking price for Clowney this offseason would likely be far lower than a first-round pick, which would leave Green Bay's top draft choice available to potentially double down at the position."
They also floated the idea of trading for Trey Hendrickson, which kinda takes this wind out of this idea's sail, but whatever. There's nothing wrong with rolling the dice on Clowney – if his football reference page is any indication, he has a nine-sack year basically every other season and is due for one in 2025.
It would certainly cost less than trading for Hendrickson, and edge doesn't feel like something they're eyeing with their first-round pick next month. So, for those reasons, I'm on board. Plus, that Packers Clowney jersey would be such a good pull at music festivals in, like, five years.
