Giving Caleb Williams any positive spin or general oxygen borders on sacrilege amongst the Green Bay Packers faithful. However, at the very least, Williams has reverence for arguably the greatest Packer ever.
Williams may have catalyzed the ultimate rally to help the Chicago Bears topple the Packers on Wild Card Weekend, but he's not above giving praise to an adversarial organization when it's due.
Well, maybe not so much the organization. Perhaps just the GOATed Green Bay quarterback he grew up watching whilst in pursuit of his own NFL dreams, culminating recently in a prestigious Madden video game cover that could, you know, result in some sort of curse?
Rooting for you to not succumb to that, Caleb (not really)!
Caleb Williams names Packers icon Aaron Rodgers in his all-time QB Mount Rushmore
The national landmark is a convenient way to cluster together a quartet of players in heated sports debates. Problematic history aside, let's keep the main thing the main thing here!
I only say that because that's the type of obscure thinking that would make Aaron Rodgers proud. No shade. Dude's just a bit of a weird dude. Then again, so is Caleb Williams. We all need a little bit of weird in our lives to keep things interesting, eh?
Anyway, Williams has always idolized Rodgers. Not his fault that he was drafted No. 1 overall by the enemy, eh? Williams just came out recently to say that Rodgers is among the four best QBs of all-time in his humble opinion, via Bleacher Report:

Tom Brady was the first name mentioned because, well, he is the actual GOAT. Hard to argue with seven Super Bowl wins among many other meaningful records.
But Rodgers was the second name up, ahead of Peyton Manning and Joe Montana. The latter two won two and four Super Bowls respectively, whereas Rodgers only won one in Green Bay.
Although he could add to that total in his presumptive swan song with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rodgers will likely be stuck on a single Lombardi Trophy, which, yes, is named for the face of Packers history, Vince Lombardi.
It'd be quite devastating to see Williams match Rodgers' ring total within the next year or two, especially if Rodgers' successor, Jordan Love, can't lead Green Bay to the NFL's promised land before then. That said, you have to respect Williams for keeping it real. He could've easily sparked an outrage amongst Cheeseheads for excluding Rodgers and swapping in, say, Drew Brees or John Elway.
Williams has the type of high-end talent to be in the Mount Rushmore conversation someday. That said, lotta game left — and the Packers and Love will have a lot to say about that as they trade blows in the NFC North for years to come.
