2. Packers must decide when to add another quarterback

The Packers will add a quarterback this offseason.

"Well right now, we only have two on the roster," Gutekunst said. "Certainly we're going to add to that room."

Without Rodgers, Green Bay's two quarterbacks under contract are Love and Danny Etling. It's clear the Packers need to bring in another quarterback, whether in the draft or via free agency.

Gutekunst said drafting a quarterback is a possibility.

"There's some guys in this draft we're very high on, and if they happen to be at the right spots, as you know, I won't hesitate," said Gutekunst.

Very high on? That doesn't sound like a seventh-round pick. Green Bay has hosted a few quarterbacks for pre-draft visits, including Tennessee's Hendon Hooker, who could go as early as the first round.

It will be fascinating to see Green Bay's approach. Will history repeat itself? Following Brett Favre's trade to the New York Jets, the Packers selected Brian Brohm in the second round and Matt Flynn in the seventh round. As Aaron Rodgers prepared to become the starter, the Packers drafted two quarterbacks.

Will they make a similar move later this week, or could they turn to free agency to find Jordan Love's backup quarterback?
