3 free agent targets Packers should pursue this summer

Outside of Kenny Clark, the Packers arguably lack significant depth in the trenches.
They drafted defensive end Lukas Van Ness in the first round last month, but he profiles more as an edge rusher than a run stuffer.
As such, they're left hoping younger players like Devonte Wyatt and T.J. Slaton take large leaps this fall. To help mitigate the pressure on these players, signing veteran Shelby Harris would be smart.
The Wisconsin native made a name for himself across five seasons with the Broncos, before being dealt to Seattle as part of the Russell Wilson trade package.
He tallied 44 tackles and two sacks in 15 games with the Seahawks and now awaits his next opportunity.
While he's primarily known for interior toughness against the run, Harris also has displayed pass-rushing prowess across his career. He's registered 24.5 career sacks and has tallied three seasons with five or more.
This would benefit Joe Barry's defense as, besides Clark, the D-line has struggled to stop the run or sack the quarterback in recent seasons. Taking even a bit of pressure off the team's deep group of edge rushers could make a difference.
If the Packers do sign Harris, he shouldn't cause Wyatt or Slaton to ride the bench. Rather, he'd provide strong rotational depth while also granting the front seven added experience and maturity.
