G Rodger Saffold

Green Bay's starting offensive line is solidified, but its depth isn't perfect—especially at the guard position.

Royce Newman has starting experience but isn't always the most consistent. Jake Hanson hasn't received many opportunities at guard or center, and recent undrafted signing Chuck Filiaga is brand new to the NFL.

The Packers' O-line has also dealt with several injuries to key contributors in recent years, so adding depth with former All-Pro Rodger Saffold would make sense.

Saffold is coming off a tough season with the Bills. Despite this, he was selected to the Pro Bowl, which some Buffalo fans found quite confusing.

However, much of Saffold's career has seen him play a pivotal role run blocking for both the Rams and Titans.

With the Bills being a pass-heavy team, Saffold's struggles may have stemmed from the system he was in.

Of course, some may reason his decline came because of his age, as Saffold will turn 35 this June.

Nonetheless, with Green Bay expected to shift more toward the run following Aaron Rodgers' departure, adding Saffold would be a gamble worth taking for Gutekunst.

At the very least, similar to Landry and Harris, he'd provide depth and experience which this younger Packers team currently lacks in some areas.
