Three Green Bay Packers players who could be in danger of losing their roster spot after the team made 13 selections in the 2023 NFL Draft.

It has been an eventful few days for the Green Bay Packers, who added 13 players to their roster during the 2023 NFL Draft.

Packers GM Brian Gutekunst strengthened some of the team's biggest needs, notably tight end, wide receiver, and defensive tackle. It was a rare Packers draft class without an offensive lineman being selected, a sign Gutekunst is satisfied with the current depth.

Jordan Love should be delighted. The Packers selected three wide receivers, two tight ends, and a running back. Help is on the way.

However, with double-digit draft picks added to the roster, there will be competition at various positions. Training camp is still months away, but these three Packers players are in danger of losing their spot on the 53-man roster after the draft.

Packers Rumors: 3 players who could lose their roster spot after NFL Draft

. . 3. . Samori Toure. player. 49. WR

Samori Toure was a seventh-round draft choice a year ago. He was active for 11 games, starting two, although he didn't get on the field too often. Toure made a strong impression when he saw extended game time against the Buffalo Bills, hauling in a 37-yard touchdown from Aaron Rodgers.

However, opportunities were few and far between for Toure in his rookie season.

Even with the Packers moving on from Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb, Toure will face competition for a roster spot. Green Bay added three wide receivers in the draft: second-round pick Jayden Reed, fifth-rounder Dontayvion Wicks, and seventh-rounder Grant DuBose.

Toure has the advantage of a year of experience in Matt LaFleur's system, and he also showed plenty of promise when he did get on the field. But there is added competition for roster spots with the addition of three rookies.
