1. Jets could draft a first-round wide receiver ahead of the Packers

This is the last thing the Packers need. Recent history suggests Green Bay won't add a pass-catcher on Day 1 of the draft, but often, that's come as a result of missing out on the top names on its board.

The Packers probably would've taken Justin Jefferson in 2020. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, they tried to trade up for him.

If a top wide receiver prospect is there at No. 15 overall -- let's say Ohio State's Jaxon Smith-Njigba -- there's a good chance the Packers select them.

But the Jets needing another receiver lessens that chance. The Packers already sit behind wide receiver-needy teams like the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans. We can now add the Jets to the mix.

It wouldn't be much fun watching the Jets add Smith-Njigba to an already-strong wide receiver corps for Aaron Rodgers, while Rodgers' former team misses out on a top wide receiver prospect yet again.

Beckham to New York would've worked for everyone. The Jets get their receiver. Aaron Rodgers is happy. The Packers could potentially trade for Corey Davis and wouldn't need to worry about the Jets drafting a wide receiver at No. 13 overall.
