1. Grant DuBose, WR

Missing the offseason workout program isn't ideal for any player, especially a seventh-round rookie on the roster bubble. Grant DuBose has been dealing with an injury that has cost him valuable reps over the past couple of months.

The Packers may only keep five wide receivers as they did in 2020. They won't have a set number of positions to fill. If there are only five receivers they feel have played well enough to make the 53, that's the number they will keep.

Even if there is a sixth opening, DuBose could find himself behind Malik Heath, Jeff Cotton, and Bo Melton on the depth chart as things stand.

There is plenty of time to change that, but DuBose will need to hit the ground running from the first practice at training camp and then stack success throughout the preseason in the same way some of the other receivers have this offseason, like Malik Heath. Heath has even had snaps with the first-team offense.

The fact DuBose was a draft pick does help, but only to a point. He needs to perform well over the summer. If not, there's every chance he won't be part of the Packers' initial 53-man roster at the end of the preseason.
