2. Should an uptick in workload be expected and how much?

Green Bay had Aaron Rodgers attempt 542 passes last season. There is not a sensible scenario which would see Jordan Love attempt anywhere near that number in 2023. So, to answer the first part of this question, yes, an uptick in workload should be expected.

Now on to the second part. How much more of a workload should be expected here?

Last season saw Aaron Jones finish with 213 rushing attempts and 59 receptions in the passing game for 1,121 and 395 yards respectively, while AJ Dillon had 186 rushes and 28 catches for 770 and 206 yards.

Jones finished with the 15th-most rushing attempts and Dillon was 27th in 2022. As a team, Green Bay ranked 15th in rushing attempts at season's end. Considering who the Packers quarterback was last season, a middle of the pack finish is not all that shocking. Matt LaFleur was clearly trying to placate Rodgers while instilling his influence over the offensive attack.

With Rodgers now out of the picture, expect a good uptick here. It would not be surprising to see Jones and Dillon make a substantial usage jump in order to get the most out of the team offensively. As long as both backs stay healthy, of course.
