2. Casey Hayward

Not re-signing Casey Hayward proved to be a huge mistake by the Packers in 2016. He would go on to have four great seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers, being named a second-team All-Pro and Pro Bowler twice. He also led the NFL in interceptions in 2016.

Since leaving Los Angeles, Hayward spent one season with the Las Vegas Raiders and one with the Atlanta Falcons.

He only played in six games for the Falcons last year due to injury, making three pass defenses and one interception. The Falcons released Hayward this offseason.

In his year with the Raiders, Hayward started all 17 games, making nine pass defenses and one interception.

Hayward can still play. He has started all 23 games he played over the past couple of seasons.

Teams are always searching for cornerback help. You can never have enough good corners. Even if Hayward isn't a starter in 2023, he would provide great depth.

The Packers not bringing back Hayward at the end of his rookie contract proved to be a terrible decision. It's also surprising no team has signed him yet this offseason. One team is going to get a bargain by signing Hayward at some point this summer.
