The schedule for the 2024 NFL season has yet to been released, but it's coming. In the meantime, we already know a good deal about the Packers' slate, including opponents and where the games will be played. All that we're missing is the dates, and we'll have those soon enough.

While we wait, here are four key things to know about Green Bay's schedule for the upcoming 2024 campaign.

Hello Brazil

Green Bay will open up the 2024 campaign by playing against the Philadelphia Eagles in the first-ever game in São Paulo, Brazil. The Packers will be the designated road team in the contest game, which will take place on Friday, Sept. 6. It will be the first time the NFL has played a game on Friday night of Week 1 since 1970.

"We're looking forward to being a part of this historic matchup against the Eagles in São Paulo," said Packers President Mark Murphy said in a statement. "We're excited to play in front of our devoted fans in Brazil and help build upon the international popularity of the NFL and the Packers. We had a great experience playing internationally for the first time a couple of years ago and we're proud to be part of the league's continued global growth."

Getting to play a game in Brazil is an awesome opportunity for the Packers, and an interesting way to kick off their season.

A rematch with San Francisco

Green Bay's season came to an end at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round last season. The good news for the Packers is that they won't have to wait too long for a shot at revenge, as they're slated to play the Niners in 2024. To make it even better, that game is slated to take place within the friendly confines of Lambeau Field, so perhaps the Packers will benefit from that vaunted home field advantage.
