2. Packers draft a cornerback early

Don't be surprised if the Packers make cornerback a priority in the early rounds. And there are a few reasons for this.

Eric Stokes is coming back from a significant injury. It's unclear whether he will be ready for Week 1. He also struggled in the games he played last season, allowing an 80% completion percentage and a passer rating of 123.5 in his coverage, per Pro Football Reference.

The Packers could also move Rasul Douglas to safety, another position of need.

It's not a deep safety class, but the Packers could have a great opportunity to draft a cornerback early. While they may miss out on Oregon's Christian Gonzalez and Illinois' Devon Witherspoon early, it's possible a player like Maryland's Deonte Banks could be there in the second.

Cornerback may be considered an under-the-radar need, but it wouldn't be surprising if the Packers have it higher on the priority list. If Stokes isn't ready for Week 1, Keisean Nixon could start. As great as Nixon is returning kicks, regularly starting at corner highlights the Packers' lack of depth.

You can never have enough quality cornerbacks as it's a premium position. The Packers may use another early-round pick to add a starting-caliber cornerback.
