No team has won more world championships than the Green Bay Packers. They are one of the most iconic franchises in sports and have been home to many legendary players over the years.

The current Packers team is in a period of transition. Future Hall-of-Famer Aaron Rodgers now plays for the New York Jets, handing the reins to new starting quarterback Jordan Love. The Packers have a talented, young roster.

Imagine we could add five Packers legends to the 2023 team. Picking five is impossible, as so many phenomenal players wore the green and gold over the decades.

It's always a fun conversation to imagine how players from different eras could help today's teams. Imagine Bart Starr leading the current Packers' offense, a wide receiver duo of Don Hutson and Jordy Nelson, or Charles Woodson and Jaire Alexander starting together in the secondary.

Which five Packers legends would dominate in the 2023 team?

49. . . player. 5. . OT. Forrest Gregg

The Packers surprisingly didn't draft a tackle this year. David Bakhtiari is still an excellent starter at left tackle, but it's unclear who will start on the right. Yosh Nijman will compete with second-year Zach Tom for the job.

Forrest Gregg was a dominant right tackle for the Packers. He was a five-time NFL champion and three-time Super Bowl champion. He won two of those Super Bowls with the Packers and the other with the Dallas Cowboys.

Gregg was a star player for the Packers during the Vince Lombardi era. He finished with nine Pro Bowl selections and was named a first-team All-Pro seven times.

The Packers need to protect their young starting quarterback. Gregg would dominate in this team, ensuring even the best pass rushers in the league wouldn't get anywhere near Jordan Love.

Gregg is a Hall-of-Famer, and there's no doubt he would be as dominant today as he was during his Packers career.
