1. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State

The Packers could draft punters and long snappers with every other pick, and they'd still get an A+ if they select Jaxon Smith-Njigba 15th overall.

If he is still available when the Packers hit the clock, it could be a rare moment where the best player on the board would also fix one of the team's biggest needs.

Smith-Njigba missed most of last season due to injury. In 2021, he played in the same offense as Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave. Both players were first-rounders in 2022 and were part of the PFWA All-Rookie Team, while Wilson was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Who led Ohio State in receiving in 2021? That would be Smith-Njigba, who caught 95 passes for 1,606 yards and nine touchdowns.

Wilson even said in an interview with Yahoo Sports in February that Smith-Njigba was the best receiver of the three of them. Talk about high praise.

Smith-Njigba isn't limited to just playing in the slot, but it would be an ideal role for him in the Packers' offense next to Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs.

The Packers missed out on some of the top wide receivers in recent drafts. Whether he falls to No. 15 or if they have to trade up, they should do everything possible to make Smith-Njigba a Packer in the draft.
