2. Isaiah McGuire, EDGE, Missouri

The Packers should take advantage of a deep edge rusher class this year, but that doesn't necessarily mean they need to go early. A prospect projected to fall to Day 3 is Missouri's Isaiah McGuire, but he has all the tools to become a quality starter in the NFL.

McGuire is an outstanding athlete, earning a Relative Athletic Score of 9.53 out of 10. He has good size at 6-foot-4, 268 pounds. He made 14.5 sacks and 28 tackles for loss in his final two seasons for Missouri.

A first-team All-SEC in 2022, McGuire could make a difference immediately in Green Bay's defense as part of the pass-rush rotation. McGuire is a physical, powerful player.

In another draft, McGuire could be considered much earlier. It's a deep class at the position, which could cause McGuire to fall to the third day. There are also areas for him to improve.

"His run defense needs work, but his size and disruption could make him a starter one day," wrote Lance Zierlein of NFL.com.

Still, it's rare to find a pass rusher with McGuire's athleticism, size, and ability in the middle rounds of the draft. He would be a steal for the Packers.
