6. Tyler Goodson wins Packers RB3 job

Running back is one of the most intriguing roster battles of the summer. While we know Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon are the Packers' top two at the position, there are plenty of options for the third and (probably) final spot.

Tyler Goodson appeared to be leading the race last summer after impressive performances throughout training camp and the preseason. However, he missed out in favor of Patrick Taylor, who backed up Jones and Dillon throughout the regular season. Taylor's special teams contributions gave him the edge.

But Goodson is off to another impressive start.

Importantly, he has been given more opportunities in different roles, including lining up in the slot. If he can continue to make plays and show off his versatility, he could become too valuable to ignore for the Packers when selecting the 53-man roster.

Goodson faces a lot of competition. Taylor, again, is in the mix. The Packers also drafted Lew Nichols III, while undrafted rookie Emanuel Wilson is an under-the-radar name to watch at training camp.

However, this is Goodson's time. He missed out last summer, but if he can show improvements from year one, the Packers won't have much choice but to keep their talented second-year running back on the 53-man roster.
