A fascinating week lies ahead for the Green Bay Packers. How will the Packers approach their first draft class of the Jordan Love era?

The Packers went from NFC contenders to having their season ended by the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field before the playoffs even began. They have turned the page to the Love era, but how will they build the roster around him?

There are so many big questions facing the Packers this offseason, and we'll get some of the answers during the 2023 NFL Draft. Let's look at seven burning questions facing the Packers entering the draft.

Will the Packers place emphasis on premium positions?

The Packers tend to emphasize drafting players at premium positions in the early rounds. During his time as general manager, Brian Gutekunst's top pick has been at a premium position four times. He has drafted two cornerbacks, an edge rusher, and a quarterback in the first round.

Green Bay went away from that a year ago, using its first-round picks on inside linebacker Quay Walker and defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt.

After a playoff-less season, will Gutekunst look to rebuild by focusing on the premium positions early?

That could bring edge rusher Myles Murphy, offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr., and maybe even a cornerback like Christian Gonzalez into play, should any of them remain on the board at No. 13.

Strengthening at premium positions is the way to go. It's the Packers' way more often than not. Will they go in that direction on Day 1?
