Aaron Rodgers knows how good Dalvin Cook is. Rodgers had a front-row seat every time Cook dominated the Green Bay Packers' defense over the years.

The Packers have struggled to stop Cook in nine games against him.

Cook rushed 142 times for 650 yards and seven touchdowns at 4.58 yards per carry against the Packers.

He dominated at Lambeau Field in 2020, rushing for 163 yards and three touchdowns and catching two passes for 63 yards and a touchdown.

The Packers can breathe a sigh of relief that Cook is no longer leading the Minnesota Vikings' rushing attack. Rodgers has watched his defense struggle to stop him in recent years.

Now, Rodgers and Cook could team up.

The four-time Pro Bowl running back remains a free agent after the Vikings released him last month. The New York Jets is potentially Cook's next destination.

NFL Rumors: Aaron Rodgers is close to bringing Packers rival to Jets

Cook appeared on Good Morning Football on Friday, providing details on his scheduled visit with the Jets this weekend. Cook said the chances are "pretty high" that he signs with the Jets, noting that Rodgers is a significant factor in his decision.

"It's a unique situation because I think they're building something special over there," Cook said. "A-Rod is a four-time MVP. Just being around a guy like that, you can learn a lot more and just develop as a player. That's what I'm looking to do."

The Jets are going all-in with Rodgers, as they should. The four-time MVP is taking a significant pay cut to help his new team, and they can use additional cap space to make moves like signing Cook.

Winning the Super Bowl is the aim for this new-look Jets team. Cook would join a talented backfield featuring second-year Breece Hall and Michael Carter.

The Jets haven't had everything go their way when trying to recruit star offensive players to join their Rodgers-led offense, but they look close to adding a Pro Bowl running back to the roster.
