The worst-kept secret of the summer has finally been revealed. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the New York Jets have been selected to appear on this year's edition of Hard Knocks.

The annual TV series provides a fascinating behind-the-curtain look at one team's preparations for the regular season. It highlights individual players, helping fans get to know them, as well as various positional battles.

This year's edition of Hard Knocks will be particularly interesting for Packers fans.

Aaron Rodgers is set to begin his first training camp away from the Packers. The Jets traded for the four-time MVP earlier this offseason.

Rodgers' adjustment to a new team and preparation for the regular season will be among the top storylines to follow throughout the show. And Rodgers isn't the only former Packer to make the move to New York this year.

Two of Rodgers' favorite receivers, Randall Cobb and Allen Lazard, signed with the Jets in free agency.

Former Packers starters, offensive lineman Billy Turner and safety Adrian Amos, also joined the team.

Rodgers' former backup quarterback in Green Bay, Tim Boyle, and backup receiver, Malik Taylor, are also on the Jets' roster.

Then there is Nathaniel Hackett, the Jets' new offensive coordinator who had the same role in Green Bay from 2019-21. Rodgers and Hackett have a great relationship, so it should be fun to see it play out in front of the cameras.

New York believes Rodgers makes it a Super Bowl contender. It should make for a fascinating edition of Hard Knocks, as Packers fans will get a front-row seat to Rodgers' first training camp with the Jets.

Although, admittedly, it will be strange watching Rodgers throw passes to Cobb and Lazard in a Jets uniform.
