It's impossible to talk about Green Bay Packers playoff matchups without the word 'heartbreak.'

The Packers are no strangers to gut-wrenching postseason exits. Painful memories include overtime in Arizona and walk-off fields against San Francisco -- both happened twice during the Aaron Rodgers era.

There were missed opportunities against Tom Brady's Buccaneers and an all-time collapse in the NFC title game against Seattle.

Packers fans have seen it all. If there's a way to suffer a heartbreaking playoff loss, this team has probably done it.

As the Packers turn the page to the Jordan Love era, the hope is for some better postseason luck.

Just don't tell ChatGPT.

AI creates crushing playoff scenario for Packers

ChatGPT doesn't like to make "predictions" so we asked it to create a fictional outcome for the Packers' 2023 season.

The AI bot could've come up with anything. How about a perfect fairytale ending? Instead, it took us on the most incredible Love story about the Packers' new superhero, overcoming obstacles and adversity along the way.

Then it decided to absolutely crush our dreams.

Here is the scenario ChatGPT came up with:

"In Jordan Love's first season as the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers in 2023, he faced immense pressure to fill the shoes of Aaron Rodgers. However, Love embraced the challenge and delivered a breakout performance. With his strong arm and exceptional decision-making, Love led the Packers to a resounding success, finishing the regular season with an impressive 12-4 record.

Love's chemistry with his receiving corps, including the emerging star Christian Watson, fueled the Packers' high-powered offense. Their connection proved to be unstoppable as they carved up opposing defenses with precision and explosive plays.

In the playoffs, Love's poise and leadership guided the Packers to the Super Bowl, showcasing his ability to thrive under the brightest lights. Although they fell short of the championship, Love's debut season as the starting QB established him as a rising star and set the stage for a promising future in Green Bay."

Thanks for nothing, AI.

Bear in mind that this was fiction, so ChatGPT could've had the Packers' season end any way it pleased. A championship would've been nice. AI went as far as to have Love lead the Packers to the Super Bowl but then decided to just ruin everything right at the end.

In all seriousness, the Packers would absolutely take the 2023 season playing out like this. Of course, losing in the Super Bowl is brutal, but the real story here is the rise of Jordan Love.

AI discussed the "unstoppable" connection between Love and Christian Watson. That's believable, and we've already seen it. When Love filled in for Aaron Rodgers against the Eagles last season, he connected with Watson on two passes for 78 yards and a touchdown.

Joe Burrow led the Cincinnati Bengals to the Super Bowl a couple of years ago. The Bengals fell short, but that season proved they had found their guy. If Love can do something similar, like ChatGPT came up with, the Packers should be delighted.
