Entering Week 8, the Green Bay Packers were averaging 4.3 points in the first half. That number is now 4.1. The Packers haven't scored a touchdown in the first half since Week 2.

It took an untimed play at the end of the second quarter to even score a point against the Minnesota Vikings. Rookie Anders Carlson missed a field goal, but an offside penalty gave him another shot five yards closer.

The good news is that the Packers somehow only trail the Vikings by seven points at halftime. The bad news is this team looks awful offensively yet again.

Green Bay has 98 total yards of offense, five first downs, and eight penalties. Eight penalties.

From dropped passes to fumbles to offensive line errors, Jordan Love hasn't received much help from the players around him. The result was another first-half disaster, and Packers fans are frustrated.

Fans roast Packers after embarrassing first-half performance vs. Vikings

The Packers have more penalties than points in the first quarter this season. That perfectly captures where this team currently is.

As tough as this team has become to watch, at least angry Packers fans are able to laugh about it on X (formerly Twitter). It's so bad for the Packers that we truly only can laugh.

Late in the second half, the Packers finally earned a first down, having gone three-and-out on the opening four drives.

You know things are going badly when Vikings fans are trolling Packers fans like this. This is what Matt LaFleur is doing to this team.

To be fair, that is pretty funny.

What wasn't funny was Green Bay's pathetic first-half display. There's time to right the ship in the second half, but this team's first-half woes have become a major concern.

It's hard to believe the Vikings aren't up by three touchdowns. The Packers need a wake-up call at halftime.
