Best memes and tweets as Green Bay Packers fans react to the second-round draft pick of tight end Luke Musgrave.
See, there was no need to panic after the opening night of the 2023 NFL Draft. The Green Bay Packers have landed their pass-catcher for Jordan Love, selecting Oregon State tight end Luke Musgrave.
Musgrave does come with risk, as he missed most of last season due to injury. He also hasn't got much college production to prove himself as a dominant pass-catching tight end. However, he has all the tools to become an excellent player in the NFL.
The Oregon State tight end is an elite athlete with great size. With his speed and receiving potential, he can be a mismatch in Matt LaFleur's offense and Jordan Love's best friend. There are so many reasons why this can be an outstanding pick for the Packers.
And the reaction of fans and analysts says it all. Unlike last night, when the Packers' pick of Lukas Van Ness was met with disappointment from fans after they had passed up the chance to draft Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the response tonight is overwhelmingly positive.

Luke Musgrave, if healthy, is great for Green Bay. He's a true seam-stretcher, vertical threat at tight end

Draft a player for what they can become, not who they are today. Luke Musgrave has a lot of untapped potential. You can't teach that size and speed.

Jordan Love gets a weapon.
The Packers kicked off the draft by selecting Iowa edge rusher Lukas Van Ness, a decision that looked even better by the end of Round 1, with many of the top pass rushers off the board. Green Bay got one of the best in the class.
This was the first of two second-round picks for the Packers. They traded down with the Detroit Lions from No. 45. Who will the Packers target later on Day 2? Will they keep adding to the offense?
