Oh, the difference a day makes. The Green Bay Packers ignored offense in the opening round of the draft, but they have made up for it in a big way on Day 2.
After drafting tight end Luke Musgrave and wide receiver Jayden Reed in the second round, the Packers doubled down at tight end with Tucker Kraft out of South Dakota State. Kraft was considered a second-round option for the Packers, so they have gotten tremendous value at No. 78.
With Robert Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis gone in free agency, Green Bay has completely revolutionized the tight end room with two elite athletes in Musgrave and Kraft. This could be a fun tight end combo for years to come in Green Bay.
Fans and analysts have been giving their reactions to the Packers' third-round pick on Twitter, and how could they not be happy?

Tucker Kraft was drafted with pick 78 of round 3 in the 2023 draft class. He scored a 9.68 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 36 out of 1105 TE from 1987 to 2023. https://t.co/oyeytl8sSU pic.twitter.com/wBzzJpQqwk

Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Samori Toure, Bo Melton, and Jayden Reed at wide receiver, plus Luke Musgrave, Tucker Kraft, and Josiah Deguara at tight end. Pretty nice.

The real winner tonight is Jordan Love. He is now surrounded with a deep and talented receiving group. He will throw to Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Luke Musgrave, and Tucker Kraft. In the backfield, he is supported by Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon.
Up front, he has David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins protecting him.
The Packers are building a young, talented offense for the long term. This isn't a one-year deal. They have added players to build around in the years to come, and that's exciting.
We won't know how well the Packers have drafted until a couple of years from now, at the least. However, it's hard to not be excited by the work GM Brian Gutekunst has done on the opening two nights of the draft. He has addressed needs with really talented players, and it will be fun to watch them get to work in Green Bay.
