The Green Bay Packers are starting over on offense.

Jordan Love has one career start and now takes over the QB1 job. His receiving corps is one of the youngest in the NFL.

The Packers have invested six draft picks at wide receiver over the past two years and two at tight end. But that doesn't mean they won't add a veteran this summer.

Could that veteran be Davante Adams?

In a video for Bleacher Report, Jonathan Delray put together a blockbuster trade proposal that would send Adams back to the Packers.

Adams wanting a trade wouldn't be all that surprising. He recently gave an honest interview with The Ringer, saying that he doesn't "see eye-to-eye" with the Las Vegas Raiders on "what we think is best for us right now."

But a return to Green Bay? That would be one of the stories of the offseason.

Davante Adams trade rumors: Blockbuster Packers proposal would infuriate Aaron Rodgers

Delray has Green Bay sending tackle Yosh Nijman, a second-round pick, and a third-rounder to the Raiders for Adams. The Packers bring home one of the greatest wide receivers in franchise history.

Here are the full details of the trade proposal:

Adams getting traded to Las Vegas a year ago was surprising. This would top that.

It would be an incredible move for Jordan Love. For Aaron Rodgers? Not so much. Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb will join Rodgers with the New York Jets, but can you imagine Adams becoming available via trade and the Packers making a deal ahead of the Jets?

The real winner would be Love.

He'd have one of the league's most exciting wide receiver rooms: Adams, Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, and Dontayvion Wicks. The Packers' young receivers would learn from the best in the business.

Adams gets the opportunity to finish his career in Green Bay, which would probably give him a better shot at winning a Super Bowl than staying in Las Vegas.

Could Packers pull off Davante Adams trade?

Unfortunately, a deal with the Raiders for Adams is highly unlikely. So many factors would need to fall into place.

The Raiders would have to be willing to trade Adams. The Packers would then have to make a competitive offer and ensure they can take on his contract.

Even more importantly, Adams would have to want to return to Green Bay. That's hardly guaranteed, especially without Aaron Rodgers. He may prefer to join Rodgers in New York.

The Packers are getting younger on offense and building for the future. Would they give up a couple of premium draft picks and a starting offensive lineman for Adams entering his age-31 season? Sure, the Packers should make that deal if it were an option, but that doesn't mean they would.

Realistically, Adams isn't going anywhere. If he does get traded, we can probably forget about a reunion with the Packers. But it's fun to imagine the possibility of him catching passes from Jordan Love in 2023.
