Chiefs listed as potential landing spot for former Packers Pro Bowler

It's always the Chiefs.

If you can believe it, a formerly-great player who's probably at the very end of his career may sign with the Chiefs. And when I say "may sign" with the Chiefs, I mean "someone on the internet thinks it'd be a good idea." So while on the surface that may not seem to be based in a lot of truth, keep in mind – it's a listicle. Would a listicle lie?

According to Bleacher Report, former Packers legend David Bakhtiari is someone that "the Chiefs should be interested in." They also think the Browns should be interested too. A bidding war! Here's why they're willing Bakhtiari to the Chiefs into existence.

Chiefs listed as potential landing spot for former Packers Pro Bowler

A two-time first-team All-Pro, offensive tackle David Bakhtiari was once among the best players at his position. However, injuries have limited the 32-year-old to only 13 games over the past three seasons ... However, Bakhtiari is hoping to return to his pre-injury form after undergoing a procedure on his injured knee in November.

The Kansas City Chiefs should also be interested. Their Super Bowl window is wide open, but the Chiefs do have questions at tackle after not re-signing Donovan Smith this offseason ... Kansas City is set to hold a competition between second-round rookie Kingsley Suamataia and 2023 third-round pick Wanya Morris, who played only 37 percent of the Chiefs' offensive snaps as a rookie.

Hope the Chiefs are listening! Their Super Bowl window is wide open, and that means they should sign every available player who's ever made a Pro Bowl. Bakhtiari has only played 13 games in the last four years – 11 of those coming in 2022 – but he's a former Pro Bowler. Who needs knees when you have a resume as strong as Bakhtiari's?

(This does kindaaaaa feel like something that could happen though. Sigh.)
