The Packers playoff hopes are back in play, but the team must stun the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs as home underdogs on Sunday Night Football to start talking about it.

While there are plenty of ways to bet on this one, this article will focus on player props for the likes of AJ Dillon and Jayden Reed on Sunday Night Football against the Chiefs. You can read more about this game with our betting expert Iain MacMillan's Road to 272, but keep reading to find out how I'm playing the primetime player prop market.

Best Prop Bets for Chiefs vs. Packers in Week 13

  • AJ Dillon OVER 46.5 Rushing Yards
  • Jayden Reed OVER 43.5 Receiving Yards
  • Isiah Pacheco 67.5 Rushing Yards

AJ Dillon OVER 46.5 Rushing Yards

As the Packers continue to wait for Aaron Jones to return from injury, the team will hope Dillon can have a breakout outing amidst increased volume. Dillon has rushed the ball 14 times in each of the past two games, but only tallied 43 yards and 29 yards.

However, this can be a great spot for the bruising back, who is facing a Chiefs defense that has the second-worst EPA/Rush mark in the NFL this season. Dillon isn't super explosive, but the Chiefs are constantly losing at the point of attack on the ground, ranking 20th in rushing success rate allowed.

With 14 or so carries again I'm bullish that he can clear this modest prop.

Jayden Reed OVER 43.5 Receiving Yards

Reed is listed as questionable for this one, but the expectation is for the budding rookie to be on the field come Sunday night.

He has become one of Jordan Love's favorite targets, playing 60% of snaps or more in five of 11 games this season. Reed has tallied five or more targets in eight of those games and cleared this mark in six of them, so it's clear that he is seeing plenty of volume and producing.

Jordan Love continues to improve with every passing game. While the Chiefs secondary has been stellar this season with the rise of Trent McDuffie, he'll likely be shadowing Christian Watson, which can open up more targets for the rookie No. 2 option.

Isiah Pacheco 67.5 Rushing Yards

We can't only bet on Packers on Sunday Night Football. While Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in football, the Chiefs passing game has been hit-or-miss this season with a lack of proven contributors.

I can envision Kansas City looking to attack the Packers on the ground, who are 20th in EPA/Rush on defense, and Pacheco is the bell-cow back and producing at a high level. He is averaging over four yards per carry in three of his last four games and has cleared 60 yards in six of 11 games.

While this feels a bit high, I think the Packers' inability to stop the run will lead to increased volume for Pacheco and for him to clear this mark.
