Get used to hearing about the Green Bay Packers' new wide receiver combination of Christian Watson and Jayden Reed.

The Packers' new-look receiving corps now features second-round choices from the past two drafts. Watson and Reed are two exciting receivers for Jordan Love to throw to.

Green Bay has drafted two pass-catchers in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, tight end Luke Musgrave and Michigan State's Reed. Getting Love more help was a priority, and the Packers have done this on the second night of the draft.

Christian Watson is a star, and is coming off an impressive rookie season for the Packers. He welcomed the latest addition to the Packers' wide receiver room, and he gave a perfect reaction.

It's fair to say that Watson is excited about the newest member of the Green Bay Packers. Last year's second-round pick welcomed Reed on Twitter.

However, while Watson is delighted to be joined by Reed in Green Bay, he raised a question about Reed's jersey.

Reed will wear the #1 jersey for the Packers. The jersey has only been worn by one player in franchise history: Curly Lambeau. The #1 jersey also happened to be Watson's number at North Dakota State.

Watson gave the perfect response:

The #1 jersey was never retired officially in Green Bay, but the fact no player has worn it since Lambeau shows it effectively was. It seems the Packers have allowed Reed to take it on.

And let's be honest, watching Watson in #9, Reed in #1, and Romeo Doubs in #87 catch passes from Jordan Love is going to be fun. That's an incredible trio of wide receiver jersey numbers.

Soon, we will get to see Watson and Reed dominating together in the green and gold. Watson's reaction to the Packers' second-round pick was perfect.
