The Green Bay Packers eked out a gutsy win over the Indianapolis Colts despite not having Jordan Love quarterbacking the offense. While the Colts tried to climb their way back into it at the end, the Packers won the game 16-10 to record their first win of the season.

Furthermore, the Packers proved that while they don't have Love at the helm, the season is not lost in the slightest, especially with the Detroit Lions dropping their game.

Malik Willis stepped up and threw his first touchdown pass of his career while also rushing for over 40 yards. The run game also crushed it, putting up 261 rushing yards on the day.

Former Packers offensive tackle David Bakhtiari was watching the game and was proud of his former squad. He noted that the offensive line "showed up" and the offense knew they had to run the ball. He also gave a shout out to offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich for the "fun runs" he "cooked up".

Bakhtiari played for the Packers for his entire 11-year NFL career and was a beast for them during that time. Unfortunately, injuries took over, and he is still waiting for an opportunity to sign with a new team after the Packers released him this offseason.

Back to the game though, this was a gutsy win for Green Bay and a win the team needed. Love went down in the final seconds of the Packers' loss to the Eagles and it was hard not to be doom and gloom about the situation considering the state of Green Bay's backup quarterbacks. Love could miss more time, so the Packers needed to get a win.

Willis wasn't a world beater in his first Packers start but he didn't make any glaring mistakes. He completed 12 of 14 passes for 122 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 41 yards on six carries.

The run game was dominant, and that was enough to get them this much-needed victory.
