The Green Bay Packers got some help for Jordan Love by selecting Arizona tackle Jordan Morgan, one of the most athletic offensive linemen in the class.

Green Bay needed to target the offensive line early. Losing David Bakhtiari, Yosh Nijman, and Jon Runyan Jr. in free agency left the Packers with little depth.

Morgan helps change that.

Whether he sticks at tackle or moves inside remains to be seen, but his positional versatility is just what the Packers need. General manager Brian Gutekunst said he believes Morgan can play four positions along the offensive line—Green Bay loves that kind of versatility.

One of the reasons Green Bay needed to draft a lineman early was the departure of Bakhtiari. The five-time All-Pro had the perfect reaction to the Packers' pick.

David Bakhtiari is fired up after Packers draft Jordan Morgan in Round 1

Bakhtiari had a legendary career in Green Bay, and he had the perfect reaction to the Morgan pick.

He may no longer be a Packers player, but Bakhtiari still loves the team, and he was fired up by the pick.

Bakhtiari wasn't just an incredible player, but also an outstanding teammate and leader. It's great to see him still sending love to the team and the Packers' newest offensive lineman. He is a class act.

Bakhtiari gave the Packers several years of Hall-of-Fame level play at left tackle. Rasheed Walker stepped into the starting spot admirably last year following Bakhtiari's season-ending injury, but Green Bay needed reinforcements along the offensive line.

Who knows, perhaps Green Bay could still reunite with Bakhtiari. The New York Jets drafting Olu Fashanu likely shut the door on a reunion with Aaron Rodgers. If Bakhtiari is still searching for a team later in the summer, would a return to Green Bay make sense?

That's a question for another day. For now, it's all about Jordan Morgan.
