Jordan Love is running out of receivers. Rookie Dontayvion Wicks is the latest Green Bay Packers pass catcher to suffer an injury in Week 16 against the Carolina Panthers.

Wicks joins a long injury list, including Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, and Luke Musgrave.

Love has still been able to move the ball against the Panthers' defense. He went 12/19 for 134 yards and a touchdown while rushing in another score in the first half. That was despite Wicks suffering an injury.

The Packers entered halftime with a 23-10 lead over the Panthers.

Will Dontayvion Wicks return for Packers in Week 16 vs. Panthers? (Updated)

The Packers have ruled out Wicks for the remainder of Week 16.

Wicks was already dealing with an ankle injury that limited him at practice all week. While we don't have the complete first-half snap counts, it seemed like Wicks may have been on a pitch count before suffering the new injury. He still made an impact, catching two passes for 29 yards and a touchdown.

The Packers are already missing Jayden Reed (toe/chest), Christian Watson (hamstring), and Luke Musgrave (abdomen).

Love might not have many receivers left, but it didn't stop him from finding success against the Panthers' defense. Bo Melton is currently the Packers' leading receiver with four catches for 44 yards, while Love has also leaned on rookie tight end Tucker Kraft.

Hopefully, Wicks' injury isn't significant. He has shown star potential this season and already has great chemistry with Love. Wicks is an excellent separator and picks up yards after the catch.

Green Bay has to win this game to keep its fading playoff hopes alive. Despite having control for most of the game, it's far from over. Midway through the third quarter, the Packers only lead by seven points.

Love will need to win this without Wicks.
