Full list of Packers players who aren't playing vs. Ravens in preseason Week 3
As expected, the Green Bay Packers will sit their starters in their final preseason game of the summer against the Baltimore Ravens.
Head coach Matt LaFleur provided no clues before Thursday's joint practice with the Baltimore Ravens, seemingly leaving the door open if he felt they needed more reps. It may have motivated the starters to put in a good performance, because they stepped up against Baltimore on the practice field.
It has earned them the day off.
In the pregame show on the Packers Radio Network, LaFleur confirmed that they didn't want to take the risk of injury in today's game and will sit their starters. He is happy with the work they have put in on the practice field this week.
It's the right move. The last thing the Packers need is to lose a starter in a meaningless final preseason game. The team has got what it needed this week with valuable reps against the Ravens' starters at practice.

Over to the backups. It's a big day for Sean Clifford and Michael Pratt, who have their final audition to make the 53-man roster. Pratt's second-team reps may suggest he has pulled ahead in the backup quarterback race, but it's still too close to call. A strong performance from either player today may settle it.
The kicking battle also reaches the final chapter. Anders Carlson has become the clear favorite after Greg Joseph's recent struggles, but he must clear the final hurdle and get over the finish line with a solid game today.
The Packers have until Tuesday afternoon to trim their roster to 53 players, leaving them with plenty of challenging choices.
