A closer look at the complete Green Bay Packers preseason schedule in 2023.

Aaron Rodgers never played in a Green Bay Packers preseason game under Matt LaFleur. And understandably so. Rodgers didn't need the reps, and the risk of injury was too great.

LaFleur hinted that things will be different this summer. As Jordan Love prepares to take over the reins, he does need the reps. As many as he can get. We could see a heavy workload for Love in August's preseason contests.

So, let's talk about those preseason games. The Packers will play in three, the first on the road and then two at Lambeau Field.

When will those matchups take place? Here is the Packers' full 2023 preseason schedule:

Week 1: @ Cincinnati Bengals, Friday, Aug. 11 @ 6 p.m. CT

The Packers will begin their preseason on the road against one of the best teams in the NFL. It's unclear whether Cincinnati will feature many of its starters like Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase, but we should see plenty of Jordan Love in this game.

Week 2: vs. New England Patriots, Saturday, Aug. 18 @ 7 p.m. CT

Matt LaFleur likes to host a team for joint practices the week of a preseason game. This year, it will be the New England Patriots, according to a report from The Athletic.

Those joint practices will likely provide more value than the preseason game itself, especially for Jordan Love. He will be tested against Bill Belichick's defense at practice, with the opportunity to build on that in the game at Lambeau Field.

Week 3: vs. Seattle Seahawks, Saturday, Aug. 26 @ noon CT

The Packers close out their preseason with another home game against the Seattle Seahawks. The final preseason game is often an opportunity for players on the roster bubble to make a case for a spot on the 53. We could also see Jaxon Smith-Njigba play for Seattle, who many hoped would get drafted by Green Bay.
