A lot can change in one year.

Rewind to last summer, and the Green Bay Packers began preseason with uncertainty. The post-Aaron Rodgers era had begun, and the Packers had no idea what to expect. Jordan Love only had one career start to his name, and his receiving corps featured rookies and second-year players.

Love takes center stage in the preseason again this summer, but this time, he's the highest-paid quarterback in league history. His supporting cast is one of the most exciting in the league, with unlimited potential. If the Packers' Super Bowl window had closed following Rodgers' departure, Love pushed it wide open in the second half of last season.

Here we are again. Love and the starters will play in the preseason, but the next three weeks go beyond that. These contests will help shape the backend of the roster and settle the most competitive of positional battles.

The Packers are on the road in the opening two weeks of preseason with matchups against the Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos. They return home for a noon kickoff at Lambeau Field against the Baltimore Ravens on August 24.

Green Bay's preseason opener won't be nationally televised but will be available to watch live via the Packers TV Network. The Week 2 contest with the Denver Broncos will also be broadcast live on NFL Network.

There are several important storylines to follow throughout the preseason, including the backup quarterback and kicking competitions, the offensive line rotation, and how the rookies perform.

We will briefly see Green Bay's starters, but most of the snaps will belong to players on the roster bubble.

Wins and losses won't count for another few weeks, but it will be great to see the Packers back in action in the preseason.
