Is there a Green Bay Packers game today?

The Green Bay Packers have completely turned their season around in recent weeks.

A narrow defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10 seemingly shattered any remaining playoff hopes while placing serious questions on whether Jordan Love would ever be the guy at quarterback.

Few expected the Packers to win one game in a three-week stretch against the Los Angeles Chargers, Detroit Lions, and Kansas City Chiefs. They beat them all.

Are the Packers back? They are on an incredible run, but they must now solidify their position as playoff contenders in the remaining five weeks of the regular season.

Love and the offense are building momentum, while Joe Barry's defense is bending but not breaking, limiting opponents to only 20.3 points per game.

Do the Packers play today?

For the fourth time this season, the Packers don't have a game on Sunday. They will play against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, Green Bay's third straight game in front of a national audience.

The NFL can flex games out of Monday Night Football, but they stuck with the Packers-Giants matchup for Week 14.

Green Bay's primetime games have produced mixed results this season. The Packers lost heavily to the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football in Week 4 but got revenge in the Thanksgiving Day rematch. Green Bay lost to the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football but defeated the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football last week.

Remaining Packers schedule 2023

The Packers have an opportunity down the stretch. We should take nothing for granted with this team, but considering how well they have played in recent weeks, they have a chance to put together enough wins to secure a wild-card berth.

None of Green Bay's remaining five opponents have a winning record entering Week 14. The Packers are 4-1 over the past five weeks. They could make a run throughout December if they can continue to play at this level.

But Matt LaFleur must ensure his team doesn't get too carried away and takes it one game at a time. Here is the Packers' remaining schedule:

  • Week 14: at New York Giants, Dec. 11, 7:15 pm CT
  • Week 15: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dec. 17, Noon CT
  • Week 16: Carolina Panthers, Dec. 24, Noon CT
  • Week 17: at Minnesota Vikings, Dec. 31, 7:20 pm CT
  • Week 18: Chicago Bears, Jan. 7, TBD
