NFC North Power Rankings according to point differential
By Ryan Heckman
1. Detroit Lions (3-1)
Points For: 106
Points Against: 83
Finally, the Detroit Lions continue to be the class of this division, especially after the dominant win over Green Bay in Week 4. On the season, Detroit has scored 106 points while their defense has allowed 83.
Jared Goff is picking up right where he left off last season, ranking seventh in the league in passing yards with 1,029. His Lions offense ranks eighth in the NFL in scoring, averaging a healthy 26.5 points per game while putting up over 386 yards per game in total (no. 8 in the league also).
Defensively, Detroit has been stingy against the run. This is where they have made their living, boasting the NFL's top rushing defense through four weeks. The Lions have allowd just 60.8 yards a game on the ground, and the Packers didn't even match half of that number last week, going for only 27 yards as a team.
Detroit certainly looks like they are going to be tough this season, if the first quarter of the year is any indication. Will they keep it up?
