Can you hear that? It's the sound of Green Bay Packers football getting closer.
A long, fascinating offseason is nearing its conclusion. A franchise-shifting one. The Packers slammed shut the Aaron Rodgers era by trading him to the New York Jets, setting up one of the most unpredictable seasons in recent memory.
Packers football is almost here. The team completed its offseason program last month, and now the start of training camp is just around the corner.
But when do the Packers report for training camp?
When do the Packers report for training camp?
The NFL has announced the reporting dates for every team this summer.
Green Bay's rookie class will report earlier than the veterans on Friday, July 21. They will be joined by the rest of the team on Tuesday, July 25.
That means that the likes of Lukas Van Ness, Luke Musgrave, and Jayden Reed will arrive for Packers training camp in a little over two weeks. Exciting times are ahead.
When is the Packers' first training camp practice?
Although the rookies will report for training camp in a couple of weeks, the wait for the team's opening practice is a little longer.
Green Bay has announced the dates of each training camp practice, although it is yet to reveal the start times for all of them. The Packers' first practice will be held on Wednesday, July 26, a day after the veterans report.
Will the Packers hold joint practices at training camp?
Yes. Matt LaFleur loves joint practices at training camp. This year, the Packers will host the New England Patriots for two practices before they meet in a preseason game at Lambeau Field.
Those practices will be held on Wednesday, August 16 and Thursday, August 17, although the timings are yet to be announced.
The team announced that they will also visit the Cincinnati Bengals for a joint practice before their preseason game.
