At 2-3, the Green Bay Packers are far from out of things in the NFC, and specifically the NFC North, but things are quickly going to get out of reach if something big doesn't happen.

The Detroit Lions look like the class of the NFC at 5-1, and with the NFL trade deadline coming up, we could see the elite become even better.

The Packers should absolutely explore making some deals and becoming buyers. They have talent in place to make a run at the playoffs. So, what type of deal should Green Bay make? Heck, let's take a look at the entire NFC North and what trades we'd like to see happen for the best interest of each team.

Trade Number 1: The Vikings deal K.J. Osborn to the 49ers

The first deal would make the rich even richer, although the San Francisco 49ers may not be feeling too rich at the moment. They witnessed injuries to wide receiver Deebo Samuel, running back Christian McCaffrey and tackle Trent Williams in that Week 6 loss to Cleveland. While Samuel's injury won't keep him out terribly long, the 49ers could still look at adding another wideout for insurance.

That's where the Vikings come in. K.J. Osborn is in the final year of his deal, and Minnesota will need to pay Justin Jefferson after the season. Not to mention, they'll probably have to pay Jordan Addison down the line as well. That means Osborn is as good as gone after 2023.

Osborn trade

The 49ers have never shied away from making a move, and this is something the 49ers would definitely do. Giving Brock Purdy and the offense one more weapon is never a bad idea. Kyle Shanahan knows how to get the best out of all his offensive playmakers, and Osborn would fit right in as a guy who has been underrated his entire career, but could make some big plays in San Francisco.
