Target: Devin Singletary, 2024 NFL Free Agency

If the Packers opt to try and find a free agent at running back, they will have loads of options. But, the majority of them aren't worth paying up for.

A year ago, if you would have told me that Devin Singletary would be looking like the best version of himself, yet, I probably wouldn't have believed you. Before signing with the Houston Texans, Singletary had always looked like an average, replaceable back in Buffalo. But, he has indeed played the best football of his career in Houston, and on just a one-year deal.

If he is given the majority of the work down the stretch, Singletary could be in for a career-high in rushing yards. The 26-year-old has gone for 711 yards, which is just 159 yards shy of his best.

Over his career, Singletary has been a solid pass-catching back, too. In five years, he's totaled 168 receptions for over 1,110 yards and four scores.

With how much success the Texans have had this year and how good Singletary has looked in that offense, I wouldn't be surprised if they brought him back. But, if he truly hits free agency, then the Packers should show interest.
