It only took 4 games for Aaron Rodgers to start calling out his head coach again

For the better part of two decades with the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers has shown us how good he is at two things: playing football and not being subtle. For better or for worse, he's never been one to shy away from letting people know what he thinks, and whereas most player's postgame digs tend to be more subtle, Rodgers has always just let it rip. It's what endeared him to people until, you know, it didn't.

After the New York Jets' loss on Sunday, Rodgers took the podium and, like he's done so many times before, pretended to dance around the point he wanted to make while still making it very clear what he meant.

When asked to comment on Robert Saleh's suggestion that the offense may need to re-evaluate the way they use Rodgers' cadence, he wasted absolutely no time – and barely any words – letting everyone know his side of things.

"That's one way to do it," Rodgers said. "The other way is, hold them accountable. I mean, we haven't had an issue – we've had one false start. Morgan [Moses] had one false start, I believe, until this. It's been a weapon. We use it every day in practice. We rarely have a false start. And to have, I don't know, five today it seemed like? Four or five? That seems like an outlier. I don't know if we need to make mass changes based on an outlier game."

I promise I hear myself saying this, but I actually kind of agree with Rodgers here? His cadence has always been a useful weapon in the offenses that he's run, and it does feel weird that a head coach would want to get rid of that just because his offensive lineman couldn't stay onside. It kinda seems exactly like something a coach is paid to fix?

More importantly? This is vintage Rodgers podium body language. The thousand-yard stare! The dismissive tone! A comically long eye roll! It's the type of answer you get from someone who knows he won't face a single ounce of pushback from anyone at his job.

Jets fans are having the true Aaron Rodgers experience, which Packers know well, all the way down to the sassy podium routine. It almost makes you feel nostalgic.
