Jaire Alexander had a hilarious reaction to Josh Jacobs' dominance in Week 2

Josh Jacobs put on a show in the Green Bay Packers' victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2.

With Malik Willis starting ahead of Jordan Love, the Packers remained committed to the ground game, and their free-agent addition delivered with 32 carries for 151 yards. He tied the fifth-most carries for a Packers player in a single game ever, and it was the most since Ryan Grant rushed 33 times in Week 6 of the 2008 season.

All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander enjoyed a nice bounce-back game after struggling in the season opener, allowing only one catch for 18 yards.

Jaire also had a front-row seat to Jacobs' dominant performance, and he loved it.

Green Bay's defense forced three turnovers and allowed only 10 points, including just three until late in the fourth quarter. The unit did their job of shutting down Anthony Richardson and a talented Colts offense. They also got to enjoy sitting on the sideline for long periods, with the Packers dominating time of possession by holding the ball for over 40 minutes.

"I was literally just sitting back enjoying my Gatorade. Felt amazing," said Alexander. "This might be the shortest film that we watch all season."

It's a good point. The Colts ran only 53 plays with a little under 20 minutes of possession. That's 21 fewer plays than the Packers had to defend against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1.

But Alexander and the defense deserve their share of the credit. They prevented the Colts from putting together long drives. In the first half, the Packers forced three punts (including two three-and-outs) and made an interception. That's winning football.

It won't be as easy for Jacobs and the Packers' rushing attack to dominate in the same way against a tougher Tennessee Titans defense in Week 3, but the game plan worked perfectly against the Colts.

Like the rest of us, Alexander enjoyed sitting back and watching Jacobs do his thing.
