Tight ends

  1. T.J. Hockenson, Vikings (90)
  2. Cole Kmet, Bears (79)
  3. Robert Tonyan, Bears (77)
  4. Josh Oliver, Vikings (72)
  5. Sam LaPorta, Lions (70)

The top two make sense. T.J. Hockenson is among the best tight ends in the league, while Cole Kmet is the clear second-best in the division as things stand. The Packers can feel a little unlucky here. Rookies Luke Musgrave (68) and Tucker Kraft (66) received low grades.

Offensive linemen

  1. David Bakhtiari, Packers (90)
  2. Frank Ragnow, Lions (88)
  3. Elgton Jenkins, Packers (87)
  4. Brian O'Neill, Vikings (86)
  5. Penei Sewell, Lions (86)

Madden gets this spot on. David Bakhtiari is still a dominant left tackle. Frank Ragnow is an outstanding starter. Elgton Jenkins is a Pro Bowler. Christian Darrisaw and Taylor Decker just missed out on the top five.

Interior defensive linemen

  1. Kenny Clark, Packers (86)
  2. Harrison Phillips, Vikings (79)
  3. Justin Jones, Bears (74)
  4. Alim McNeill, Lions (72)
  5. Andrew Billings, Bears (72)

Again, this seems about right. Outside of Kenny Clark, there isn't a ton of interior defensive line talent in the NFC North. There are many players with potential, including Packers rookie Colby Wooden, but the Madden 24 ratings are a fair reflection of this position entering the 2023 season. It will be interesting to see how these ratings change throughout the year.
