3. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, Minnesota Vikings

Similarly, it's too early to say whether Kwesi Adofo-Mensah's tenure with the Vikings has been a success. But he is off to a good start.

Adofo-Mensah took over a Vikings team that had failed to reach the postseason in consecutive years. In his first season, Minnesota won the NFC North with a 13-4 record.

He has shown a willingness to trade with division rivals, which is rare in the NFL. Minnesota traded down twice in the opening couple of rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft, making deals with the Lions and Packers. Detroit traded up for Jameson Williams, while Green Bay made a move for Christian Watson.

Adofo-Mensah faces a big task in the next year or two. The Vikings have lost several core players, including Dalvin Cook, Adam Thielen, Eric Kendricks, Dalvin Tomlinson, and Za'Darius Smith.

He deserves credit for being willing to move on from fan favorites. The hard part is replacing them.

Adofo-Mensah made key additions that helped the Vikings regain the NFC North title, like signing Za'Darius Smith and trading for T.J. Hockenson.

But the Vikings are in a fascinating spot. They are the NFC North champions but have moved on from several key contributors this offseason. How Adofo-Mensah rebuilds at those positions will make or break his tenure as Vikings GM.
