For the first time in three years, there is head coaching continuity for all four NFC North teams. Matt LaFleur, Dan Campbell, Matt Eberflus, and Kevin O'Connell return for another year.

LaFleur is entering his fifth season with the Green Bay Packers. He is the most experienced head coach in the division.

Campbell is preparing for his third year with the Detroit Lions. Eberflus and O'Connell are in only their second seasons.

Which NFC North team has the best head coach in 2023?

4. Matt Eberflus, Chicago Bears

Matt Eberflus needs to quickly turn things around in Chicago to avoid the hot seat. His head coaching career got off to the worst possible start last season, with his Bears team going 3-14 and landing the top pick in the draft.

Eberflus has a defensive background, but the Bears' defense ranked 29th in yards allowed per game and 32nd in points allowed.

It's not all on Eberflus. He can only work with the roster given to him, and the Bears lacked talent in several areas. That has changed this offseason, with the Bears spending big in free agency and strengthening on both sides of the ball.

Eberflus doesn't necessarily need to win the NFC North this season, but Bears fans expect significant improvements.
