The Packers are the only NFC North team with the same starting running back this season. Their top two remain the same, in fact.

Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon are among the best running back duos in the NFL.

Jones has been dominant in four seasons in Matt LaFleur's offense. In that time, he has started 62 games, rushing for 4,108 yards and 31 touchdowns at 5.0 yards per carry and caught 207 passes for 1,615 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Dillon has been the No. 2 running back over the past two seasons, rushing for 1,573 yards and 12 touchdowns while catching 62 passes for 519 yards and two touchdowns.

There will be competition for the No. 3 running back job at training camp. Patrick Taylor was the main choice for that role last season, but second-year Tyler Goodson was impressive in the offseason program and the Packers drafted Lew Nichols III this spring.

Jones and Dillon will share the majority of the carries and their styles complement each other. While the rest of the division has made significant changes at the position, the Packers are running it back with the best backfield in the NFC North.
