Another successful Green Bay Packers draft is in the books.

It was a classic Brian Gutekunst class in many ways. He attacked several positions of need, tripling down on safeties and offensive linemen while adding two linebackers. Gutekunst also prioritized athleticism and versatility, which is the Packer Way. As promised, Gutekunst also added another quarterback on Day 3 with Michael Pratt.

A particular focus was building the spine of the defense. With the additions of Edgerrin Cooper, Javon Bullard, Ty'Ron Hopper, Evan Williams, and Kitan Oladapo, the Packers drafted players who can improve the middle of the defense under Jeff Hafley.

How well did the Packers draft? Here's a breakdown and grade for all 11 picks.

Packers 2024 Draft Grades: Day 1

You couldn't find a player better suited to the Packers than Jordan Morgan. Brian Gutekunst said he's "our kind of guy."

What do the Packers prioritize along the offensive line? They love versatility, athleticism, and excellent pass protectors. That describes Morgan. His Relative Athletic Score of 9.24 is among the best at his position. The Packers plan to let Morgan begin at left tackle, where he played at Arizona, but Brian Gutekunst believes he can line up at four positions along the offensive line.

"He's got left tackle feet. Very athletic kid," Gutekunst said. "He did 27 [reps] on the bench as well, so he's a very strong athlete. When you move inside, things move a little quicker and you've got to handle a little more power, and he's certainly shown an ability to do that."

Green Bay also values experience. Morgan started 37 games at left tackle for Arizona, making him one of the most pro-ready linemen in the class.

According to PFF, since 2022, Morgan has played 880 pass-blocking snaps, allowing only 31 pressures and three sacks. Pass protection is his biggest strength, and he will get a chance to land a starting job at tackle or guard from Day 1 in Green Bay.
