NFL executive makes wild prediction for Packers in 2024
The Green Bay Packers' Super Bowl window has officially reopened.
Green Bay entered the 2023 season hoping Jordan Love would prove why he could become the team's next franchise quarterback. Love achieved more than that. He played at an MVP level down the stretch and led the Packers into the divisional round of the playoffs.
The Packers entered the season without expectations. Few gave them a shot, and they were playing with house money in the postseason.
That all changes in 2024. Expectations have changed. This young Packers team, including Love, should take a step forward next year. The NFC is wide open, and Green Bay can make a deep playoff run if it can put together another strong offseason.
It requires hiring the right defensive coordinator. Green Bay must strengthen the roster through free agency and the draft. If Brian Gutekunst and Matt LaFleur get it right, the sky is the limit in 2024.
NFL executive believes Packers will win Super Bowl in 2025
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler spoke to NFL executives and scouts and asked for predictions about the offseason and beyond.
One stood out: The Packers will win the Super Bowl next season.
According to Fowler, a veteran AFC scout made that prediction. Here's what they said about the Packers' chances:
"[Green Bay has] a young nucleus to build from -- and the offensive line was playing really well," a veteran AFC scout said. "The defense was up and down but finished the year much better. They've always had talent on that side of the ball. Can they be consistent?"

It's hard to disagree. Green Bay's offense was on fire in the second half of the season, and the improved offensive line play deserves a lot of the credit. The Packers will improve their offensive line depth in the offseason, but they don't need significant upgrades anywhere on offense.
The defense needs work, but LaFleur has committed to making a defensive coordinator change. Green Bay has five draft picks in the opening three rounds to bolster the defense.
The Packers can become NFC contenders if they can fix their biggest needs in the offseason.
And, who knows, maybe they can win it all.
