22. Seattle Seahawks

After making the playoffs a year ago, few expected a 30-13 home defeat to the Los Angeles Rams on opening day. Geno Smith threw for only 112 yards. The pressure is on to bounce back against the Detroit Lions next week.

21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Well, who saw that coming? Baker Mayfield threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns, lifting the Bucs to a shock road victory over the Vikings in Week 1. Maybe Tampa Bay can remain competitive without Tom Brady.

20. Los Angeles Rams

The Rams also pulled off a shock victory, crushing the Seahawks 30-13 on the road, even without star receiver Cooper Kupp. A huge game against the San Francisco 49ers is on the way next week.

19. Pittsburgh Steelers

So much for the Steelers defense. They were dominated by the Niners. Christian McCaffrey rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown, while Brandon Aiyuk put up 129 receiving yards and two scores. Was it just a one-off disappointing performance from the Steelers, or is there cause for concern?

18. Washington Commanders

It wasn't a perfect performance from the Commanders, but they found a way to get the job done against the Cardinals, and that's all that counts.

17. Los Angeles Chargers

The good news? The Chargers rushed for 234 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 5.9 yards per carry. The bad news? They had no answer for Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who threw for 466 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.
