16. Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders still have a lot to prove, but they made a good start to the season with a tough road victory over the division-rival Broncos. An even bigger challenge awaits in Week 2 when they visit the Buffalo Bills.

15. Buffalo Bills

And while we're talking about the Bills, we have to discuss the disastrous second half at MetLife Stadium. Buffalo turned the ball over three times in the second half, saved by a last-second field goal to force overtime. But the Bills then allowed a game-winning punt return touchdown to Xavier Gipson.

14. New Orleans Saints

The Derek Carr era got off to a strong start in New Orleans, with the Saints winning a close game against the Titans. They might be the best team in the NFC South.

13. Cincinnati Bengals

Wow. What an awful start to the season for one of the AFC's top contenders. Joe Burrow was held to 82 yards against the Cleveland Browns. The Bengals scored just three points. They have to put things right against the Baltimore Ravens next week.

12. New York Jets

The Jets pulled off a memorable overtime win, but they fall in these power rankings after losing star quarterback Aaron Rodgers for the season. Just awful.

11. Kansas City Chiefs

The defending Super Bowl champions were nowhere near their best in Week 1. Patrick Mahomes had no help from a receiving corps missing Travis Kelce. They deservedly lost to the Detroit Lions in the season opener.
