The Green Bay Packers have several needs entering the 2023 NFL Draft.

Wide receiver. Tight end. Offensive tackle. Edge rusher. Safety. They could address any number of them in the early rounds.

Entering a new era, the Packers need to take the best player on the board. A player to build around in the coming years.

Green Bay picks 15th, the team's highest selection in four years.

Who could they take in the first round?

NFL Mocks

Myles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson

Jacob Schyvinck of NFL Mocks and Lombardi Ave has the Packers fixing their pass rush in the first round. Clemson's Myles Murphy could be a future star.

He plays a premium position, is an elite athlete, and has the potential to become a dominant edge rusher in the NFL.

I like this pick a lot.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State

FanSided's Brad Weiss has the Packers getting Jordan Love some help in his recent mock draft.

Packers fans would be excited with this pick, and for good reason. Ohio State's Jaxon Smith-Njigba would be a perfect fit in Green Bay. With his route-running and agility, Smith-Njigba would complement Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs by dominating in the slot.

There's so much to love about his game and potential in the Packers' offense.

Myles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson

Bucky Brooks of also has Myles Murphy falling to No. 15, where the Packers gladly pick him.

"Murphy is an athletic edge defender with the potential to develop into a double-digit sack producer," Brooks wrote.

Couldn't agree more.

A pass-rush trio of Myles Murphy, Rashan Gary, and Preston Smith would be a lot of fun.

CBS Sports

Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU

Another receiver to watch in the first round is TCU's Quentin Johnston. That's who Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports has going to Green Bay in this mock draft.

The Packers have a type at wide receiver, and Johnston checks just about every box. He has great athleticism, size, and speed.
