NFL Draft order if season ended today: Loss moves Packers close to top-10 pick

In just two games, the Green Bay Packers have moved from a playoff position to an early first-round draft pick.

That's the unpredictable nature of this young Packers team. They are capable of defeating the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions but can just as easily lose to the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After suffering their second straight defeat in Week 15, the Packers moved from a playoff spot to almost a top-10 draft pick.

Packers are back in the mix for early first-round pick

The dream of landing a premier left tackle, cornerback, or wide receiver seemed over while the Packers were building a winning run. All of a sudden, it has become a reality again.

Here is the updated 2024 NFL Draft order entering Week 16:

Plenty more twists and turns will come in the next three weeks of the regular season. The Packers will likely make the playoffs if they beat the Carolina Panthers, Minnesota Vikings, and Chicago Bears. Equally, a top-10 draft pick is possible.

Expect the unexpected with this young Packers team. Nothing is guaranteed, even with a matchup against the 2-12 Panthers on deck.
